Located 2min walk from a beautiful, clean beach Riad Zahra makes a perfect getaway for those who are fed up with big city life and all they want to do is to relax. The hotel is fairly new, yet cosy and with a good ambience.
The beach in Essaouira is undoubtedly one of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches I’ve seen in Morocco- no wonder why so many European tourists decide to come just to this city. There are lifeguards on the beach and many nice cafes and restaurants around.

The place is held in a modern, yet a bit oriental style. It resembles a traditional, Moroccan riad. There are 23 rooms with different standard and views. For the best views book the room on the top floor!
Riad Zahra is owned and run by a Spanish family from Barcelona. If you want to practice English, Spanish or French- go ahead that’s a perfect place for a language immersion!
Riad Zahra has an awesome swimming pool with comfortable sunbeds. It is located in the backyard- private and invisible for strangers. There are lovely tortoises- permanent inhabitants of the swimming pool:)

A thing that is worth mentioning is the fact that Riad Zahra specializes in grill- you may order your dinner for 13 euros. The restaurant is located at the top floor of the hotel with a breathtaking view on the beach! Breakfast is included with every reservation.

Review prepared in collaboration with the hotel. I was hosted by the hotel in exchange for presenting the place among my Readers. Opinions and photos are my own and nobody has influenced them.
