Every time I travel to the south of Morocco I feel like I am travelling to a different planet!
Far from big city life, nervous people and nasty men on the streets.

Amazigh people from Atlas mountains are so sweet and gentle. They have a very simple life and they are thankful for that. You won’t see them with the newest iPhone and fancy clothes. You also won’t hear their men whistling at women on the street. They are very hospitable and kind. They make you wanna come back to their villages over and over again!

What’s also worth mentioning is the fact that crime rate is zero and people leave their houses open when they are out. They also don’t need much money. All food that they need is there: prickly pear, figs, peaches, animals etc. Simply amazing. Amazingly simple :)

I asked them to pose for some photos. Honestly, it was not an easy task- they don’t want to be captured in pics but some of them were so nice and let me take some snaps!

I don’t know what exactly they were doing but it was something with prickly pear and figs…:)

This boy made me melt when I came to his house… he kissed my hand  a real gentleman! I thought that gentlemen are an extincted species.. Faith in humanity restored!
