Hidden deep in Atlas mountains Kasbah le Jammou makes a perfect getaway from crowd, noise and hectic life. The tempo of life is much slower and much more peaceful in this place. People seem to have no clocks- they have time instead…
The kasbah is located in a small village Tabarkecht in Atlas mountains, around 80 km from Ouarzazate and 10 km from Kelaat Mgouna. Its nature is breathtaking! You smell the scent of soil, rain and trees combined together- something that you will never experience in cities like Marrakesh, Casablanca or Fes.
The place is surrounded by mountains from all sides. There is also a small river just nearby. If you go for a walk to discover the neighborhood you will see many peach and fig trees- you can eat fresh fruits without pesticides;)

Apart from the location and the surrounding nature, Kasbah le Jammou has another big advantage: the food!
You will have occasion to taste the real Moroccan tajines, soups and other dishes. Driss, the cook makes sure the food tastes as good as it looks!
Breakfast is included in the price of a room. For a lunch or a dinner you’ll pay 10 euros. Unless you stay for longer than just one night- then you can choose also a lunch or a dinner. I am sure you will stay more than one day because the place is really relaxing and makes you forget all the troubles.

Kasbah le Jammou is a mix of modernity and Amazigh traditions. You will experience real Moroccan culture there! The building is quite big and tall- you will see amazing views from the rooftop. The place is fairly new and for now 4 suites are available for guests. Each suite has a shower, separate toilet, a living room and a bedroom. What’s more, each one has an amazing, big balcony.
All room are beautifully decorated and very clean. Kasbah is a perfect combination of a luxury hotel and a traditional, Moroccan guest house. The atmopshere there is so welcoming and makes you feel like home.

Review prepared in collaboration with the hotel. I was hosted by the hotel in exchange for presenting the place among my Readers. Opinions and photos are my own and nobody has influenced them.
