When I came back from Dakhla Attitude friends asked me if it is worth visiting. I just sent them some photos…
The beach club has probably the most peaceful location in the region. Located 30 km from the airport of Dakhla, it is a perfect getaway far, far from crowded resorts and big cities. In addition to that, Dakhla Attitude is hidden in the beautiful dunes of the Sahara, 3 km from the main road. You will not be bothered with the cars passing by or strangers (like in other hotels in that region)- the only sounds you hear are the wind and waves of the crystal clear lagoon. Even though it was originally created for surfers, families with kids and couples also go there to relax and escape the big city life.
I am not a surfer, I didn’t even try to surf, yet I enjoyed every single day during my one-week stay in Dakhla Attitude. Let me explain you why. The beach club resembles a little city in the desert – you have everything what you need. Delicious meals served three times a day, music, surf shop, sports centre, beach and peace. You can book a trip to the white dunes, enjoy white sand (with natural argile!) in The Dragon Island, go to an oyster farm and taste fresh seafood or hit Dakhla City at night. All you need to do is to let the staff at the reception know one day in advance. I tried something new, SUP (stand-up paddle), which was a great experience for me. If you are not a fan of nautical sports, you can do yoga twice a day or dance in the Pink Flamingo Bar at night. Every night there’s something to do – you can enjoy the newest hits from European dancefloors, you can listen to live sahraoui band. The only thing you can’t do is to get bored!
If you want to practice kitesurf or windsurf – Dakhla Attitude has it all! You can rent equipment, book lessons with professional monitors and learn how to do it. If you are an advanced surfer – it will be a true paradise for you. Dakhla in the windy capital of Morocco, wind blows minimum 300 days a year, 45km/h!
The bungalows are beautiful and give you an authentic experience. They are a very nice alternative to hotels, where you only have a room. Here, all bungalow is yours!
The food in Dakhla Attitude was a positive surprise to me. Always fresh, always different. Every day there’s a new, healthy menu. Portions are more than enough and always truly delicious. For breakfast you can choose whatever you want, and the choice is wide: cereals, fruits, bread, scrambled eggs, yogurts, jams, ham, hot chocolate, tea… You can also make your own, fresh orange juice! Lunch is usually light and healthy, with a salad and a dessert (chunks of melon, slices of orange with cinnamon etc.) and dinner is usually more stuffing and always comes with a mouthwatering dessert (lemon tart, homemade cake or pudding). You can taste both; European and Moroccan cuisine in one place.
One more thing, the waiters are supernice! I have never experienced more polite service than there.
Depending on your preferences and budget, you can choose from four different types of accommodation:
A berber tent, a bungalow in the Windhunter’s camp (it’s a bit far from the reception, restaurant and entrance), Dragon’s camp, which is just next to the reception, or VIP bungalows located at the top of the dune giving you a splendid view each morning!

Can I recommend the place? Definitely. And I surely want to go there again despite the distance (I live in Casablanca and Dakhla is 1600 km away) – it feels like going from Poland to Spain! ;)
Review prepared in collaboration with the hotel. I was hosted by the hotel in exchange for presenting the place among my Readers. Opinions and photos are my own and nobody has influenced them.
